Barns
Brad Reed's Day 116 of 366
This grand old barn stands proud and strong on the backroads between Silver Lake and Pentwater. I thought it was cool how the pattern in the clouds matched the pattern in the old metal roof. I also really liked the vines growing on the barn
Barn Art
Like so many Michiganders and Michiganders at heart, I love looking at the barns scattered across the countryside of our great state. In recent years more and more Michigan barns are being adorned with wooden barn quilts for owners and passersby to enjoy. This barn quilt brightens a February day on Old Mission Peninsula along East Bay north of Traverse City.
Todd Reed's Day 123 of 365
I'm a sucker for dandelions and this is turning out to be a great year to photograph them. Today I find them to be a colorful component in a picture of Kevin and Nancy Hansen's centennial farm, along with Victory Trinity Lutheran Church and some of the Victory Township countryside.

Rachel Gaudette’s Day 126 of 366 - May 5, 2020
I cannot even estimate how many times I have driven past this farm in my lifetime so far. On my way home this evening, it stopped me. I pulled over and carefully composed my image. I made sure that the silo was completely showing, and that there was enough green grass in the foreground to pull the viewer into the image.
Todd Reed's Day 128 of 365
Holy cow! This must be Michigan. I can't believe my eyes as my wife and I drive inland from Petoskey to find the source of all that snow we have been seeing on some cars. Soon we are in the midst of the biggest, wettest snowflakes I have ever seen. I spot this red barn high atop a hill. It is a better background than I could have dreamed for.

Brad Reed's Day 142 of 366
Mark Scott, who lives at Cherry Hill Farm on Conrad Road next to our hunting property, texted me today saying their cherry tree out front was in full blossom. I waited until the light got lower and headed that way. I am so glad he texted me. It was fun watching the sun light up the barn in the distance and the cherry tree in the foreground.
Omenas Pride
My dad and I each photographed this barn in a snowstorm for Week 7 of "Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed." We made our way back to the tiny Northern Michigan town of Omena this afternoon to photograph the majestic white barn with the fruit trees in blossom.
