Water World
Today, while exploring the dam at the Bass Lake Outlet with an underwater housing for my camera, I decided to try shooting from under the water straight up towards the sky. The resulting photograph turned out a lot cooler than I thought it would. I love trying new things with my camera.

Water Paint
Today is shaping up to be a good day to see the unusual. This unexpected view greeted me at the south end of Torch Lake. I wonder if the boathouse doors were painted in place or painted and then erected. Either way, the paintings and their reflections look fascinating.

Crystal Water

Greetings from Pentwater
I am not sure whether this skeleton is welcoming me or signaling me not to enter this spooktacularly decorated Victorian mansion. I knock on the door of Barry and Andrea Zierbarth's Pentwater home on Park Street anyway and live to tell about it. I love seeing grand old homes decorated for the holidays; it really brings them to life!

A Glowing Morning in Pentwater - Panoramic
Pentwater has to be one of the most picturesque villages in Michigan. With a long exposure this morning, I photographed Pentwater coming to life on a cold December morning.
