Today, while exploring the dam at the Bass Lake Outlet with an underwater housing for my camera, I decided to try shooting from under the water straight up towards the sky. Today is shaping up to be a good day to see the unusual. This unexpected view greeted me at the south end of Torch Lake. I am not sure whether this skeleton is welcoming me or signaling me not to enter this spooktacularly decorated Victorian mansion. I knock on the door of Barry and Andrea Zierbarth's Pentwater home on Park Street anyway and live to tell about it. Pentwater has to be one of the most picturesque villages in Michigan. With a long exposure this morning, I photographed Pentwater coming to life on a cold December morning. F5.6 at 30 seconds, ISO 100, 18-50mm lens at 27mm
